  • To make sure Sammy Sosa doesn't get bogged down in autograph requests and photo seekers as he moves between workout stations, the Rangers have attached three City of Surprise police officers to insure his progress is unimpeded.
  • The Mariners announced today that right-handed pitcher Mark Lowe, who had arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow on Oct. 6, 2006, to repair a chondral defect, will undergo a follow-up arthroscopic surgery.
