Last night was the first time in MLB history that two players hit two homers in a single game with each also hitting a walkoff homer. Troy Glaus and A.J. Pierzynski did it. The Rays sweep of the Red Sox was the first time in the modern era that a team that finished dead last swept the defending world champions two times in a season. Alex Rodriguez needs 1 RBI to reach 1551 39th all time, passing Fred McGriff. |
