There are a few bits of information I'd like to pass along this afternoon.

Several top prospect lists have started popping up around the Internet. Since just about everyone does one of these lists now, we're going to pass on the professional prospects and focus on the college and high school prospects this winter. We will, however, provide links to the numerous sites that are putting together some very informative lists. With 11 games left to play in the AFL, the Desert Dogs and Rafters are both 3 games up on their division opponents … Desert Dog 1B Chip Cannon (9 HR) is 5 home runs shy of tying the AFL single-season home run record (Brandon Wood 14 – 2005) … The Desert Dogs managed to post 6 runs despite only notching 3 hits last night in their 6-2 victory over the Scorpions … Javelina 3B Yunel Escobar (ATL) had 4 more hits yesterday to raise his average to .444, which leads the league … Despite giving up 1 unearned run, Scorpion relief pitcher RHP Billy Sadler (SF) struck out 3 batters in his one inning of work last night, giving him his 9th consecutive appearance (10.1 IP) without yielding an earned run … with the 3 K’s, Sadler now has 17 in the Fall … Scorpion IF/OF Mark Reynolds (ARI) is 10 for his last 22 with 6 RBI, 3 doubles and 1 triple … The Arizona Fall League Championship game is set for November 18th at Scottsdale Stadium at 1:05 PM
