SEC Preview: 12 Teams with CWS Hopes

• Baseball Analysts has a cool look at the pitching mechanics of Jeff Samardzija who recently chose football over baseball and signed with the Cubs.
• According to Fox Sports, the Rockies seem to have reached an agreement on a deal with Brian Lawrence while the Cubs are closing in on a contract with Cliff Floyd. Good thing John Thomson didn't go to Chicago!
• No more free doughnuts in Kansas City! You have to read this one to believe it. These kinds of promotions are better suited for the minor leagues anyway.
• The folks over at Dodger Thoughts certainly had a lot to say about our Ned Colletti interview. Interesting stuff!
