Reds Reportedly Sign Cordero to 4 Year, $46 Million Deal

The Cincinnati Reds have reportedly reached an agreement on a four-year, $46 million contract with closer Francisco Cordero, according to ESPN.com. The deal also includes a club option for a fifth year. Cordero will have to pass a physical next week. more »

Joe Kennedy Passes Away

In a sad story today, ESPN is reporting that pitcher Joe Kennedy has died at his home in Florida. The cause of death has not yet been determined. Kennedy most recently pitched for the Diamondbacks, A's, and Blue Jays in 2007. This is one of those stories I really hate to pass along...especially at this time of the year. Our prayers go out to the entire Kennedy family. more »
