View Article  Blog Battle 2007

As you all know, the past few weeks have been “Fantasy Month” at Baseball Digest Daily. Well, Matthias Koster, of mopupduty.com fame, had the idea to get writers from various blogs into a fantasy league to “throw down”. I have the honor of representing Baseball Digest Daily in the league. If you are not interested in fantasy baseball, please don't let this interfere with your enjoyment of the real baseball content, but for those of you who share the fantasy baseball bug, Click "more" to see how I spent 100 minutes Sunday morning:

We are using Yahoo's Fantasy Baseball service. The league is 16 teams, standard 5x5, no keepers. Only 16 players are active: C,1B,2B,3B,SS,3 OF, UT, 2 SP, 2 RP, 3 P. There are 5 bench spots per team, and 1 DL spot.

Feel free to post comments/questions/suggestions.  I'm submitting an article to Joe for publication on the "main page" with my thoughts, and that's subject to the publication schedule, but should be out this week, in time for any of your drafts which come up next weekend.
