View Article  Bonderman DL'd, Miller Gets His Shot

The Atlanta Braves put left-hander Mike Gonzalez on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left elbow…Rocco Baldelli could be headed for the 15-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain…and the Tigers today announced the club has placed righthanded pitcher Jeremy Bonderman on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to May 9 with a blister on his right middle finger.

The Bonderman move is the most significant because lefthanded pitcher
Andrew Miller will be recalled from Double A Erie on Friday to make his first ever start that evening against the St. Louis Cardinals at Comerica Park.
