After seeing this video of Kansas City Royals outfielder Joey Gathright jump over a Japanese car:

I thought it would be enough...but no.  Now he has to jump over Japanese baseball players:

Huge thanks to our friends at Rays Anatomy, especially Eric SanInocencio!

With Jose Guillen serving his suspension in the first two weeks of the regular season, Gathright will be able to see some playing time in left, while Mark Teahen plays in right field.

He's batting .344 this Spring with only two extra-base hits, but Rotoworld put it best when it wrote:

...but he's makes it to second base on his own after collecting his singles.

The guy has freakish speed on the bases and in the outfield.  Last season, he batted .307/.371/.342.  On the basepaths, he was caught 8 times in 17 tries, his worst stealing percentage since he entered the majors in 2004 with the Tampa Devil Rays (THAT was their name at the time...).

He has hit one home run in 866 AB in his MLB career.
