  • Jamie Moyer pitched 6 solid innings, Chase Utley had 3 hits, and Pat Burrell doubled, walked twice, and drove in 2 runs as the Phillies rallied to defeat the Brewers, 3-1. Bill Hall and Ryan Braun each had 3 hits, and Jeff Suppan allowed just one run on 5 hits in 7 innings for Milwaukee.

  • Carl Crawford went 3-for-5 with 2 stolen bases, and Evan Longoria doubled, tripled, walked, stole a base and drove in a run as the Rays completed the sweep of Toronto in Disney World by beating the Blue Jays, 5-3.
  • Tim Lincecum struck out 9 over 6 1/3 scoreless innings, and Rich Aurilia provided all the offense in the game with a solo home run in the 7th inning as the Giants squeezed past Chris Young and the Padres, 1-0. Young allowed just one run on 2 hits while striking out 10 in 7 innings for San Diego.
