  • Dustin McGowan tossed 7 strong innings, and Alex Rios and Scott Rolen each drove in a run to lead the Blue Jays to a 3-1 win over the struggling Royals.

  • Jose Contreras struck out 10 while allowing just 2 runs on 3 hits over 8 innings, and Carlos Quentin went 3-for-3, drove in 3 runs, and hit 2 home runs, one of which proved to be the game winner as the White Sox nipped the Angels, 3-2, in the day's 7th walk-off victory.
